![]() ![]() #FLTPLAN GO FSX PC#Įxport the flightplan (!!430XP!!.pln or !!430XP!!.pln), if you wish, to your PC (My Documents\Flight Simulator Files) Enter the flightplan waypoint by waypoint in the GNSģ. Note that the plan is loaded (a) to the GNS and (b) to FS2004, not the other way around as you said. There's nothing to stop you from creating a route in FSBuild and then copying the waypoints (one at a time) into the GNS. If I understand correctly what you have stated, there is no way to import a plan directly into the RXP530/430. The plan has to be entered one waypoint at a time. Hence for a plan with 57 steps it would take quite a while like maybe an hour. No offense intended, but this is not fun. Most people using FS9/X are not that serious about reality. So why not have a way to inport directly into these RXP units? If I remember correctly the PSSA320 or PMDG737 could import plans into the FMC. Why not have this option as well? Without the import option I am sure you will loose sales. ![]() There are Garmins available that allow a direct import of a FS plan. These are based however on the default FSX database as you may well know. Reality XP has created an 'as real as it gets' Garmin 530 and 430 set and then they get comments like these. If it's to much hassle to enter a flightplan don't get this unit. I sincerely hope RXP will never offer the possibility to import FSX or other flightplans. I don't know for the life of me how I am even able to fly! Entering the plans manually is part of the fun when preparing a flight. I do not have the luxury flight plan import / export with my real 430W, and I have to enter each way point manually. I plan my flights using one of several flight planner softwares that I have, file the plan, print out the log and go to the airport. In the real world, and when IFR, I may get a clearance that differs from what I filed, so I still have to manually enter everything in the 430.Ī flight plan with 57 waypoints?!! I can get from New York to Florida with less than 12, often much less as I often ask ATC for "Direct" once past the DC area. Sometimes I will just program in the first few waypoints and leave the rest until airborne as my plan might change once I get more direct routing. In fact, through much of the country pilots are using 430/530s, even when IFR, and file "Direct". I've never spent more than a few minutes inputing what I need to.
